About 2km south of central Battambang, Maisons Wat Kor is a secluded sanctuary of 10 rooms in traditional-style Khmer houses that once welcomed Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Rooms are light-filled, spacious and come with contemporary bathrooms, and the saltwater swimming pool surrounded by lush foliage provides plenty of opportunity for chill-out time. The delightful, open-air restaurant welcomes nonguests.
In 2016, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stayed here, and photographs of the visit are prominently displayed. As you might guess, the service is excellent.
