Founded in 1931, this German-style hotel with sprawling, verdant grounds, a stone's throw west of Maringá's restaurant row, is the valley's oldest lodging. Twenty fireplace-equipped chalets, including four larger ones suitable for families, are complemented by two swimming pools, a kids' wading pool, basketball and tennis courts, trails down to the river, a sauna and an on-site restaurant.
