In 2017, Lisbon-born chef Cristóvão Laruça moved his popular Portuguese restaurant from Belo Horizonte's suburbs to this sleek space overlooking the Abilio Barreto Historical Museum's leafy courtyard. Couples and families come here to enjoy treats from across the Atlantic like bolinhos de bacalhau (codfish fritters) or shrimp and octopus cataplanas (seafood stews served with rice), followed by delicious homemade desserts.
