Once a cabaret frequented by cocoa tycoons (and one of the settings for Amado’s Gabriela), this colonial building was restored to its original brilliance in 2004. Now it serves as a restaurant and cultural center. There's a lunch buffet from 11:30am to 2:30pm. You can tour the house while you wait for your food or visit without eating for R$5.
