Named after a common São Paulo sight (neighborhood security watch huts that pepper fancier residential districts), Guarita ('Guardhouse') is the unpretentious cocktail domain of ex-D.O.M. mixologist Jean Ponce, one of the city's best. The dark and industrial space doesn't inspire confidence, but his unbeatably priced caipirinha (R$18), made with aged cachaça, has been voted the city's best.
There's a wonderful patio if you want to actually see who you're mingling with.
