Chopperia Atlântica

Rio de Janeiro

Perfectly positioned, this open-air bar and eatery looks out on wide Av Atlântica, with the beach in the background. Owing to its breezy location, it attracts a varied mix of people, all of whom play a part in Copa's inimitable street theater. The beers are icy cold and go nicely with the huge appetizer menu and sizzling platters of grilled steak.

Despite the name ('chopperia' means tap room), you'll only find old-fashioned Brahma on tap.
