Teatro Riachuelo

Rio de Janeiro

Opened in 2016, the beautifully designed Riachuelo hosts a high-quality repertoire of concerts and dance performances. Come for a show, but be sure to return by day to check out the gorgeous facade — the neo-Moorish building dates from 1890 and has gone through many incarnations over the years (Brazil's first sound film was screened here back in 1929).
