Cine Odeon

Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro's landmark cinema is a remnant of the once flourishing movie-house scene that gave rise to the name Cinelândia. Following a restoration before the 2016 Olympics, this 1926 film palace was converted into a multifunction venue. Aside from screenings of the latest Hollywood fare, the Odeon stages occasional concerts, plays and dance performances.
