Void – House of Food

Rio de Janeiro

This venue has two halves: on one side is Void, a store and cafe/bar selling sneakers, T-shirts, baseball caps, brownies and drinks. On the other side of the divide is House of Food, a ‘guest kitchen’ hosting chefs, cooks and general food enthusiasts on daily rotation. The menus are heavy on international street food and food-truck classics.

This is one of Botafogo’s growing number of multifunctional spaces combining fashion, food, music and art in a single venue. The shared seating, free wi-fi and emphasis on international cuisine attracts a young, creative crowd.
