At first this unpretentious bar-restaurant on a corner above the beach seems like any one of thousands in the Northeast. But then you get the menu and realize you've slipped into a parallel dimension where escargots are washed down with fresh coconut juice and caipirinhas. The snails are superb but there are also plenty of other excellent options.
Prices are excellent and the views along the pretty sandy bay make it a fine place to stick around for drinks after a meal.
