After a successful foray into the boutique hotel industry in Portugal, superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is throwing his funds into the food-and-beverage industry, starting with this new Gramado venture which he opened with his mother, Doña Dolores.
CR7's first restaurant concentrates on family recipes from his sister's cookbook, As Receitas da Minha Querida Mãe (Recipes of My Dear Mother), including the football star's favorite dish, Bacalhau CR7 (salted cod with eggs, onions and potatoes – for an astonishing three times the average Portuguese price!). This is Gramado's inaugural Portuguese restaurant.
