This 'lodge' run by the River Guides of Panbang comprises nine tents mounted on platforms beside the Marangang Chhu. Tents are simple but comfortable, with twin beds and portable electric lights. Hot showers are available in two separate blocks, and a large open-sided pavilion functions as the communal dining area.
As well as accommodation, the staff (all locals) can organise river rafting (exciting or gentle), fly-fishing (catch and release), tours to Khenpa and Sharchop villages to see bamboo weaving and local festivals, and elephant safaris in Royal Manas National Park. Note, however, that animal-welfare groups advocate against riding elephants due to health concerns for the animals.
