One of the few places that you'll always find open in downtown, Marvas prepares cheap Creole classics served with a huge plate of rice and beans. There's no sign and the dining room is a pretty basic affair, but you'll get to watch all kinds of local characters swing by for takeout. The fiery homemade hot sauce is legendary.
