A comfortable small hotel in an attractive colonial-style house, the Coningsby is recommended for attentive service and tight security. Rooms are fairly Spartan and show some wear, but there is plenty of inviting common space, including a breezy balcony. Also on offer: excellent breakfasts, laundry service and tours. The location offers easy access to downtown, but it can be noisy.
