Accessed through a stone archway behind a grand patrician villa, this excellent restaurant does everything right, from the exquisite floral details on the beautifully artistic starters to perfectly balanced mains with subtle Asian twists. Even the coffee is excellent, and the €29 lunch deal is superb.
Ingredients are locally sourced, including some herbs from the garden, where the outdoor tables offer a peaceful oasis. Indoors, the modernist splashes of red are counterpointed by the giant wooden 'beak' of an antique Laotian temple frontage.
