Bottom Bay

Top choice in Barbados

On an island blessed with beautiful stretches of sand, Bottom Bay is up there with the best. With translucent turquoise waters framed by rocks and windswept palms, it's a remote piece of paradise where you won't have to share the sands with hordes of visitors. The only downside is the strong currents that make swimming tricky.

Keep a lookout for monkeys hanging out beside the access path.
