The Mermaid Beach Resort is a stunning high-end beach resort about 15km south of Cox's Bazar. Luxurious thatched bungalows are secluded among the trees along the property's private beach. There are two restaurants, one of which is open to catch the sea breeze at dinner. Meals abide by a slow-food ethic, but the service itself is anything but plodding.
