I live in Chicago, where I eat donuts, yell at the Cubs, and write stuff for books, magazines, and websites when I'm not doing the first two things. I have contributed to 80-plus guidebooks and travel anthologies covering destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and the Caribbean. The Midwest and its offbeat sights are my specialty.
