Arena Wien

Schloss Belvedere to the Canal

A former slaughterhouse turned music and film venue, Arena is one of Vienna’s quirkier places for seeing live acts. Hard rock, rock, metal, reggae and soul (along with cinema) fill its outdoor stage from May to September; in winter bands play in one of its two indoor halls. Regular events include the monthly German–British 1970s New Wave bash ‘Iceberg’.
