Most doubles in this four-star hotel have bathtubs, and the best rooms (superior doubles and suites) have a touch of glamour, with large windows that overlook the river. Some rooms can be very plain but there’s also a wellness centre with solarium and sauna. Entrance is from Auböckplatz. The restaurant (mains €11.50 to €30) serves proficient Austrian classics, with some excellent wines.
