Rendezvous Grand Hotel

Perth

You can't miss the Rendezvous – an absurdly colossal, gregarious, Vegas-style hotel on the Scarborough waterfront (with pyramid!) built by disgraced (now deceased) WA business tycoon Alan Bond in 1986. Bond made a multistorey statement, but at the cost of any degree of class. Still, the views are unbeatable, and kitsch eventually becomes hip, doesn't it? Parking from $15.
