Old Firestation Backpackers

Fremantle

There's entertainment aplenty in this converted fire station with limited air-flow and murals aplenty: free internet, ping-pong, outdoor movies, parking and a sunny courtyard. Dorms have natural light and many guests stay long term; there's a nice women-only section including TV lounge, rooms and bathrooms. The hippy vibe culminates in late-night guitar-led singalongs; bring earplugs if you value sleep.

Some doubles have air-con.
