Spread over several warehouses and accessed via the visitor centre, this excellent museum has displays on the gold rush and mining, and Aboriginal history and culture, with plenty of heavy machinery to admire outside. Don't miss the dramatic exhibit on the Rabbit-Proof Fence and bone up on the Emu War of 1932, that was lost...by the humans.
