Kookynie Grand Hotel

The 1902 Grand Hotel is a true outback pub experience: it's atmospherically decked out with old mining tools, Aboriginal art and weapons, and local miners prop up the bar. The hotel is also frequented by Willy, the abandoned racehorse whom the owners nursed back to health. You can stay overnight (rooms from $90).
