TarraWarra Museum of Art

Top choice

Housed in a striking Allan Powell–designed building at TarraWarra Estate, this excellent gallery showcases Australian art from the second half of the 20th century to the present day. Exhibitions often feature works from the museum's notable collection, but there are also regular visiting exhibitions of Australian and international contemporary art. The entrance fee for students and pensioners is waived on Wednesdays.
