In the same family for seven generations since the 19th century, this farm underwent a dramatic redevelopment in 2018 to become an upmarket spa retreat. Hosts Claire and Rob have created a tasteful brand of informal luxury, with villas featuring a stylish, understated design, with handmade furniture and works by local artists. Minimum two-night stay.
The seven villas are individually designed, varying in features and aesthetics, such as private balcony or garden courtyard, spa-fed bath or private outdoor shower, and a choice between ocean view and pastoral outlook. All have a kitchenette, a wine bar and a hamper with locally sourced produce. It's a retreat in the true sense, not only because of its natural mineral spa but also because there's no wi-fi, to ensure that guests kick back, take in the coastal landscapes and unplug from the outside world.
