One of Melbourne's hottest restaurants has gone for a sea change: setting up on the ground floor of the Lorne pub, MoVida has brought its authentic Spanish cuisine to the Great Ocean Road. The menu features a mix of classic dishes made with flair using regional produce.
As well as favorites such as patatas bravas (fried cubed potatos in spicy tomato sauce) and paella, expect the likes of adobo cazon (marinated fried fish) with gummy shark from Apollo Bay, or tortilla de setas (potato omelette with mushroom) using Otway shiitake mushrooms and organic local eggs. The drinks list comprises Spanish cava and wines, vermouths and Moritz cerveza on tap.
