At the Glenrowan Tourist Centre, Ned Kelly’s Last Stand is an over-the-top animated performance where Kelly’s story is told in a series of rooms by a cast of surprisingly lifelike animatronic characters. It culminates in a smoky shoot-out and the hanging of Kelly, which may be too scary for young children.
Original props include a handgun owned by Kelly, Sgt Kennedy’s hitching post and a rare copy of the findings of the Royal Commission into the Kelly manhunt.
