A popular stopover for those en route to the beach, Flying Brick is known for its quality apple and pear ciders. Grab a tasting paddle ($14) and head to its grassy picnic area, decked out with recycled furniture, where a food van also serves up salt-and-pepper cuttlefish. Its restaurant's popular, too, with a quality menu of shared plates (dishes $10 to $49).
You can also taste wine ($5) that's grown on the estate. The visitor office is based here, with plenty of ideas for things to do.
