At the time of research Anglesea's finest restaurant was in the process of relocating to a new address, but in the meantime they've just launched Fish by Moonlite (Shop 4, 87–89 Great Ocean Road), offering gourmet fish and chips, and fresh seafood to cook up back home.
The restaurant itself was the first in Anglesea to earn a Good Food Guide chef's hat, and mixes an unpretentious atmosphere with a quality menu of 'coastal European'. Highlights include their whopping bacon steaks with scrambled eggs, meze-style plates, and mains such as slow-roasted lamb and delectable fish and chips.
