Though you wouldn’t guess it from outside, this 1890s weatherboard home has been transformed into a welcoming guesthouse with comfortable rooms featuring excellent beds. Three of the rooms have stylish bathrooms (a fourth has private facilities across the hall) and there’s a shared fully equipped kitchen next to a comfortable communal lounge. Owner Joy is a mine of local information.
On the other side of the guesthouse's herb and vegetable garden are three self-contained bungalows sleeping up to four (double $170, extra person $30). Basic breakfast provisions are provided for both rooms and bungalows.
