Gateway Cafe

The East Coast

This cafe does bang-up breakfasts, then serves other filling stuff throughout the day: pies, wraps, sausage rolls, vegetable frittata, biscuits and slices. The salt-and-pepper squid is so fresh it's wriggling. Tune-in to the wailing Robert Palmer as you head for the outdoor seats, or duck the low-flying ceiling fans and scan the wall of sporting memorabilia out the back.
