Possum Shed

Mt Field National Park

Walking into the Possum Shed is a bit like stumbling into a CWA (Country Women's Association) meeting. Knitted goodies and other crafts line the walls, and staff get about in kitchen aprons as they dish out great Devonshire teas, burgers and salads. Sit out on the rear deck and scan the Tyenna River below for a platypus.

It's in Westerway, en route to Mt Field about 30km from New Norfolk.
