Kosaten Japanese Restaurant

Hobart

We could say this darkened Japanese bunker in an old stone ordnance store near Salamanca Place is a sushi-train joint, but that would be underselling it. Plates of gorgeously prepared Wagyu, pork belly, soft-shell crab tempura and grilled scallops travel the train tracks along with more predictable sushi and sashimi, best consumed with a cold Asahi. Good vegetarian options, too.
