Surrounded by highland lakes, and thus popular with anglers, this complex just off the Lyell Hwy, 30km east of Derwent Bridge, has various basic accommodation options, including old hydro-workers cottages and motel-style rooms. Sadly, all could be cleaner and are in need of refurbishment. There's an on-site bar with pool table, a restaurant and a nearby general store.
