This charcoal-fronted terrace is a laid-back haven of quality eating and drinking. Graze on the short, brilliant menu that changes slightly daily and runs from bar snacks through tapas to mains. Though well presented, the food's all about flavor combinations rather than airy artistry. The 'feed-me' menu ($79 AUD) is great value and there's always something interesting to accompany by the glass.
Dropping by for just a drink is also an option: staff shake some really excellent and original cocktails. Try their house aperitif, a refreshing blend of wine, vermouth, strawberry and tonic, or come for the bottomless long lunch at the weekend and enjoy bottomless wine along with it (1.5 hours, $90 AUD).
