Once the dank domain of burly sailors and salty ne’er-do-wells, the Tilbury now sparkles. An upmarket crowd of Potts Pointers and yachties populate the light, bright interiors, sipping G&Ts and glasses of imported wine. The restaurant does top-notch contemporary fare; the seats out the front, in the upstairs bar and in the gin garden are particularly popular on lazy Sunday afternoons.
