Halfway between the beach and Bondi Junction train station (10 to 15 minutes' walk to either) this pleasantly scented guesthouse is great value. Rooms are small (the building used to be a hostel) but the recent refit is stylish and contemporary, with quality linen and an airy blue-and-white theme. All rooms have sinks, kettles and fridges. Prices drop in low season.
The shared bathrooms are for one person at a time, rather than squeezing you into cubicle-style showers.
