A brisk 27km drive south of Hawker on the Orroroo road, little Cradock seems to comprise mostly of three large stone buildings: two of them are churches, the other is this friendly country pub, which has received a savvy makeover recently. Great pub food (mains $13 to $26), a crankin' juke and decent accommodation out the back (doubles $75 to $110).
