Prohibition Liquor Co

Adelaide

Forget the pious ‘City of Churches’ moniker: Adelaide has always been a hard-drinking town. 'Gin City' might be a better tag these days, with 21 brands of mother's ruin now made in SA. Prohibition Liquor Co is at the forefront of the boom: a sassy central distiller operating out of an industrial space on increasingly interesting Gilbert St.

Prohibition’s flagship gin conjures up flavours of wormwood, ruby grapefruit, blood orange, lemon myrtle, vanilla, green tea and lavender – a combo that’s citrussy on the nose with a soft, delicate finish.
