InterContinental Hayman Island Resort

The Whitsundays

An avenue of stately date palms leads to the entrance of one of the most gilded playgrounds on the Great Barrier Reef, with its hectare of swimming pools (open around the clock), landscaped gardens, state-of-the-art spa, five restaurants and pristine beaches. The rooms vary from well-appointed poolside cabins to deluxe three-bedroom suites and stand-alone villas; all are huge.

Resort guests must first fly to Hamilton Island Airport, before being escorted to Hayman's fleet of luxury cruisers at the Port of Airlie for a pampered transfer to the resort.
