Despite being called Surfers Paradise YHA, this is actually a great 1st-floor spot overlooking the Mariner's Cove marina in Main Beach, with sky-blue dorms kitted out with basic metal bunks. There's a free shuttle bus, pub crawls on Thursday and Saturdays, and the hostel is within wobbling distance of a tavern. It can also arrange tours and activities.
