Sandy Bay Campsite

The Whitsundays

Accessible only by foot, or with a small boat at mid to high tide, this secluded beach site is fringed with mangroves and rainforest. Buy permits online before arrival, and don't confuse Long Island's Sandy Bay with the camp site of the same name at nearby South Molle. Island Transfers can get you here.
