NOA

Top choice in Cairns

Edge Hill, Cairns' hippest suburb, has plenty going for it: the botanic gardens, Centenary Lakes, a sprinkling of boutiques and coffee joints, and this place. Known locally as the place to sip, savour, see and be seen, the exceedingly atmospheric NOA tempts with tapas (reef fish ceviche, Wagyu tataki), mains (tandoori spatchcock, local-seafood spaghetti) and cocktails to set you swooning.

Pop down for $10 tapas and $12 cocktails every afternoon between 4pm and 6pm.

Buses 130 and 131 run between the city and Edge Hill.
