City Winery

Fortitude Valley

The first microwinery to open in Brisbane since 1860, City Winery makes vino from varietals grown in different corners of Australia. Good-value lunch specials are offered daily (noon to 2pm) in the front cellar-bar, while the impressive backroom restaurant runs at lunch Friday to Sunday and dinner Wednesday to Sunday.

Heading the kitchen is talented chef Travis Crane, cooking gorgeous, locally sourced produce using a 4m fire pit.

Head in for all-day tastings or twice-daily winery tours (11.30am and 3pm), the latter requiring pre-booking online.
