Art Series – the Johnson

Brisbane

Brisbane's first Art Series hotel is dedicated to abstract artist Michael Johnson, whose big, bold brushstrokes demand attention in the svelte lobby. Framed works by Johnson also grace the hotel's uncluttered contemporary rooms, each with heavenly AH Beard mattresses, designer lighting and free wi-fi. There's an on-site gym as well as a sleek 50m rooftop pool designed by Olympic gold medallist Michael Klim.

Limited parking is available (per day $30), as is rental of hotel smart cars ($50 per day) and Lekker bikes ($5 per hour).
