On the island's west coast, Poverty Creek is a large, grassy campground; facilities include toilets, a waste disposal facility and cold showers. Just south, Ocean Beach offers similar facilities. On the east coast, the Gallagher Point camping area has a few bush campsites, with no toilets or other facilities. All three sites are accessible by 4WD.
