Crystal Caves is a gaudy mineralogical museum that houses the world’s largest amethyst geode (more than 3m high and weighing 2.7 tonnes) and more than 600 other crystals and glittering rocks. The 'crack a geode' experience is $30 and includes a small geode to take home. It's a great place to take the kids.
