Merl Camping Ground

Kakadu National Park

The turn-off to this campground is about 1km before the Border Store. It is divided into a quiet zone and a generator-use zone, each with a block of showers and toilets. It can get mighty busy at peak times and, be warned, the mosquitoes are diabolical. The site is closed in the Wet.
