Provenance Arts

Top choice in Darwin

A fabulous initiative from Injalak Arts, an outstanding Indigenous art centre in Arnhem Land, Provenance Arts is a gallery with works from over 30 Aboriginal art centres from across the NT, WA and Qld, but their ambitions run further – visitors can sometimes interact with the artists themselves and there are plans for an Indigenous cultural tourism information centre.

You'll encounter everything from high-end artworks to souvenirs, hand-printed fabrics to soaps, and this dynamic space includes workshops, activities and more. With an emphasis on fair-trade principles, there are also some non-Indigenous pieces as well.
